Sadly a lot of series like this act more or less as an ad for the manga or light novel/web novel.
All we can do is hope. Worst case scenario we'll just have to read the manga which is good too since the designs in this borrow more from it than the novel illustrations anyways.

@MeliaToda I don't think there is going to be a second season unless they decide to completely ignore the last scene of the anime, they rushed to show them for no particular reason more than to show them in action too even if they were nowhere near that. They are basically telling us to go to read the novels to know how the MC got the girls bcause the manga also isn't close to that.

DxD S4 ignored most of S3. Same with Blue Exorcist S2 ignoring everything S1 did after like episode 17 or so. I don't think it's hard to ignore this montage which feels more like a teaser for the future of the story than anything if they decided to do S2

I mean seriously, the shows title literally has the word "Harem" in it, and the only scene that actually has any resemblance of a Harem Anime is in the last 2 minutes of the entire series... and they put the End Credits over it. Talk about an obvious lack of respect for the Erotic Art.

I think the makers of this series just wanted to give the fans The Finger, and this is how they chose to do it.
I mean seriously, the shows title literally has the word "Harem" in it, and the only scene that actually has any resemblance of a Harem Anime is in the last 2 minutes of the entire series... and they put the End Credits over it. Talk about an obvious lack of respect for the Erotic Art.

Adapted properly, the anime would need like 4 or 5 seasons to cover Michio getting all the girls. That's how slow it is. But that's not lack of respect or anything

4-5 seasons of anime tiddies is exactly what we want. They can still do it by back tracking. It won't eliminate the end credits but flesh out the story.Each season focusing on a different girl and her story too.
