So, the artist said they didn't like the designs for the Toho versions of King Kong (King Kong vs. Godzilla, King Kong Escapes) and changed them to be "more realistic". So now they just look like MonsterVerse King Kong....yeah. Normally I don't care about artists changing a design but in this case it defeats the purpose of telling who apart when comparing the designs through out history.

So to make it easier for you, from left to right they are:

A normal gorilla for reference.
A human for reference.
King Kong (1933).
King Kong vs. Godzilla (1962)
King Kong Escapes (1967)
King Kong (1976)
King Kong Lives (1986)
King Kong (2005)
Kong: Skull Island (2017)
Godzilla vs. Kong (2021)

If he had lwft the Toho designs alone this would have been prefect cause this is the best size chart I have seen for King Kong.
