She didn't fall in love with Ebon Dragon. He took her against her will. She read a copy of the Broken Winged Crane and got teleported to Malfeas accidentally. Manual of Exalted Power: The Infernals will show you that Ebon Dragon looks kindly on infernals that force someone to marry them against their will. It's a very villain-esque thing to do.
