True Story: I actually back-shelved this Anime series (Coppelion) when it's Eng.Dub originally came out (about 2015), just because there were other more interesting series I wanted to watch at that time, and I only recently got around to watching it here in Jan.2023.

I always intended to watch it, and I'm very glad I finally did! The main reason being the Beautiful Background Art throughout almost the
entire series!
As depicted in the Opening Scene clip, Coppelion's episodes are full of Lush, Detailed, & Intricate backgrounds that made watching this Anime a Very Satisfying experience that I hope every Anime Fan gets a chance to watch at least once.

Despite being set in a Post-Apocalyptic setting, having a color draining filter that ALMOST leaves everything in gray-scale, and a plot that I wouldn't call Great, but Good at it's best, I think Coppelion is a show that serves as a Great example of how Great Artwork can sometimes save a series.

I'm thinking of making this one of the Anime series I watch around New Year's or maybe End of Summer.
