You got a couple things wrong.

1 Starfire isn't an old character, she was just invented for Teen Titans.

2 AMERICAN comic books were made for kids (such as the ones from DC), and did NOT have anybody being tortured, enslaved, whipped, beaten, or whatever. Now JAPANESE comics are different, they are called manga and often DO have stuff that's not ok for kids.

LOL. Seriously, do some research before pointing out that others are "wrong" The "Teen Titans" this Starfire is from is greatly toned down from the "The New Teen Titans" Starfire.
