^ Arval wouldn't be interested in recruiting Byleth to 'their cause'; Arval's entire philosophy, motivation and thoughts are just 'kill Byleth.' In fact, recruiting Byleth is possible in the game and Arval doesn't like it one bit to say the least. Whenever Byleth and Shez fuck as depicted here, Arval and Sothis are screaming as two voyeurs forced to watch their worst nightmare. So that's something to keep in mind
