This is a hard one, but what I can come up with:
Right side: "My date with the captain is finally here. But if I try too hard he might turn away..."
Left side: "If there really is a chance, if there really is... I'll wear a pair of new, cute underwear so that if I myself fail, Captain's virginity..."
I'm assuming a lot for the last sentence, tbh. It's a little confusing, but I think I'm close to right. And the tense seems odd - if today's her date, wouldn't she be wearing (continuous) instead of will?
