You can find an issue of Nintendo Power (May issue, volume 72, page 103) saying this game is gonna get released in the U.S. for the Super Nintendo with the title of "Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters" in April of 1995. It never happaned. The reason? The Nintendo 64 was coming and they felt they wouldn't make enough sales when 3D games were coming. It is ironic cause this could be a game that is still played in fighting game tournaments like Street Fighter 3 is. Even more ironic is "Godzilla: Battle Legends" did come to the U.S. but it was for the TruboDuo which was an awesome but expensive even back then so who even knew someone who had one?
