It's actually encouraged by doctors for couples to have sex during pregnancy--it helps to both reduce hypertension and therefore prevent eclampsia, as well as aid the mother psychologically by helping her feel more happy about feeling pregnant.

Of course, still gotta be careful towards the end--premature labor CAN be induced by sexual activity.
