I mean... there is no denying that Bon Clay has saved Luffy many times!
Boa consistently keeps helping Luffy.
Jimbei is sticking with Luffy for now to look after him.... ummm...
Vivi and her stupid duck were important characters for a very long arc.

There would be very few characters that I would add to this, personally. Mister 3, Buggy and Shanks are not truly allied with them... umm... but yeah, you're kind of right. But the picture is kind of sexy. :3

Shanks couldn't go on this list cuz he never helped out the crew, but he still has been some sort of role model for Luffy I guess. And Buggy and Mister 3 just went from enemy to neutral so that's not enuf to get on. This pic here shows who should be in the crew. Mr. 2 as long as long as his clothes aren't always super okama. Just a little bit of okama is fine cuz it's part of what makes him great.
