A prequel of the previous drawing.
Tired of the boring everyday life, the hero decided to begin a new life as an adventurer alongside his loyal servant Phaeris.
Phaeris has served the hero's family since she was bought by his grandfather, and thus she has known him from since he was a baby, however, even with Phaeris at his side, the hero need more companions to form an actual party, so he have to go to the market and look for slaves that can help him in dungeon raiding.
At the market, the hero found something. A custom made arena, delimited by wooden fences. Near it was an old dwarf and other people formed in a row.
Those were clearly his slaves, it seems that the dwarf had put them in display to sell them. The dwarf was the owner of a gladiatorial school, however, due to some bad decisions and his house burning down, he had to sell a few of his gladiators and gladiatrixes.
Between those, there were two girls that caught the hero's attention, a black haired girl with slanted eyes and a red haired girl with big breasts. The hero wasn't sure which one should he buy, so he asked the dwarf to give him a demonstration of each girl's abilities.
The girls were given the order of going to the custom arena and give a demonstration fight, Monika, the black haired girl, was given a wooden gladius and a shield, while Eleanor, the red haired girl, was given a big wooden two-handed sword.
When they fought, it was clear who was the superior fighter. Monika didn't do bad, but Eleanor's sword skills didn't give her any openings nor oportunity to fight back. After all, Eleanor was captured and bought by the dwarf since she was a little girl and has since trained and perfected her skills for combat and became a fierce gladiatrix in the arena, the only reason she wasn't as popular as other gladiator is because of her stern and stoic attitude and lack of charisma. Monika, at the other hand, was just a regular japanese girl who was recently summoned into this world and swiftly enslaved.
Eleanor defeated Monika, so the hero bought her. A strong and skillful girl like her will do great at killing monsters that lurk inside the dungeons. Now the hero need another member to form his party of 4. Phaeris knows attack magic, Eleanor is a skilled fighter, now he needs someone who can fit any remaining slot.
And about Monika, later that day she was bought by a young witch, who was delighted in finally finding a human for... well, she didn't explain, but one can only imagine what does she want from Monika, the enslaved summoned girl.

Well then, I wish the hero every success in plundering the dungeons and that he and his slaves are not seriously injured. After the dungeon, the hero and his three slaves can safely take a bath together.
It's a pity that Monica has already been sold, I know a tavern owner who must be interested in a girl from another world.

Well, the next image will be about Luna (the nephili girl) at the slave market, look forward for it. I'll write the story in the meanwhile.
And about Monika, she was sold to a young witch, maybe i'll commission an image with her as a protagonist in the future, who knows, maybe her new partners are characters we already know.
