i know what u mean these things look like plush toys the first gen pokemon look like they could kill u in a sec. hell nidoking or rydon could easily kill you. beedrill stings must be painful pinsir and scyther are two bug pokemon that could take off your head. venasaur was one ugly bastard but you dont want to mess with him. im tempted to kick all the pokemon in this pic for the fun of it

Or maybe you should wait until we see what they evolve into before you say stuff like that. Most of the basic stage Pokémon in gen 1 were cute as well.
They are also drawn to be extra cute in this picture, Wargle and Hihidaruma look like they're probably rather fierce Pokémon otherwise.
