Monika Tatsumi, the japanese girl summoned to this world and enslaved, once a gladiatrix was now bought by a mysterious figure, who brought her to a castle in the middle of the forest, once they entered the castle, the mysterious figure turned back to its original form, a mere life sized puppet who was no doubt being controlled my whoever was in charge of the castle, before Monika could think about leaving, she heard a voice from somewhere ordering "Stay in this mansion and help keeping it clean, you are not allowed to escape or leave without permission. Any other order shall be given by this voice enhancement spell so you can hear me without having to leave my room". The seal in Monika's neck forces her to obey the commands of her master, so she was unable to escape.
Monika spent several weeks working at the castle, doing chores and cleaning as much as she could, fortunately, she wasn't the only slave there, so she didn't have to take care of the whole castle.
One day, she was finally summoned to the onwer's chamber. Ru'kaeyra, a young looking oni girl went with her to guide her, the castle was so big after all, one could easily get lost in it.
Once they arrived and Ru'Kaeyra opened the door, Monika became horrified of what she saw, it wasn't only the shock of discovering that her new master, or in this case mistress, was just a little girl, something that would normally be reassuring if it wasn't for the little witch using the poor elf girl Leilana as a mere lab rat to test her shady home made concoctions, all while giving an cheerful smile.
"Is this some sort of punishment?" She thought, but punishment for what exactly? slaves cannot dissobey their master and can't run away either. Monika soon figured out that it being punishment was the preferable option, because the alternative was way worse.
What if this was just another chore that she would eventually have to do? Now Monika was afraid of whatever her young mistress might need from her.

May I say that I think it's good that with Monika you show an example that not every person from our world becomes a hero in another world. It is more likely when something like this happens that you are enslaved or killed.
Well Monica shouldn't be scared or worried about what her mistress might do to her, slaves generally shouldn't. Slaves live to serve the master or mistress.
Personally, I also find it strange that Monika doesn't get to know her mistress immediately upon arrival at the castle, a slave girl should always know the name of the master or mistress.
Well I wish Monika good luck in her new life

May I say that I think it's good that with Monika you show an example that not every person from our world becomes a hero in another world. It is more likely when something like this happens that you are enslaved or killed.
Well Monica shouldn't be scared or worried about what her mistress might do to her, slaves generally shouldn't. Slaves live to serve the master or mistress.
Personally, I also find it strange that Monika doesn't get to know her mistress immediately upon arrival at the castle, a slave girl should always know the name of the master or mistress.
Well I wish Monika good luck in her new life

Well, Hilda (The witch) is actually pretty reserved and too busy working on new potions and spells to go and meet every single slave that works in her castle. In fact, only a few gets to meet her personally, Monika should feel honored. She just doesn't like to be bothered when she is working.
The benefits of the slave seal is that she doesn't have to keep a tab on every slave since obedience is guaranteed, and her magic allows her to give commands without leaving her lab so she can keep working without being bothered, unless she requires a specific favor from a specific slave.
Getting close to her means more privileges, of course, but it also means a higher chance of becoming a lab rat, like poor Leilana.
