Hey fagstick moron. This picture? NOT HALO. It's Gundam. That's a GM Sniper II and a Guncannon (MP-Type)

The resemblance is uncanny

Gundam came before Halo. These machines were designed before Playstations and AOL existed. So, if the Resemblance is uncanny, the makers of Halo have a copyright problem to work out with Yoshiyuki Tomino.

The right side mech is not a GM sniper; that's a Helldiver from Patlabor.

That said, green-armored mechs with gold visors isn't exactly a new, revolutionary concept pioneered in the last decade.

Ahhh. Good Anon, I concede that to you. I thought it was another GM variant. Then again, I haven't seen much of Patlabor. I've seen enough to know I like it and that the Ingram is a lovely design.

Also, earliest "Green suit/gold visor" mix I can recall off the top of my head was Starship Troopers Roughnecks Chronicles in the later 90's. Any earlier examples? (Perhaps said Helldiver for one. I don't know when Patlabor was released.)

I'd remove the Halo-related tags, but the site's still in read only mode...

To be fair, the original color of Guncannon MP is red with green visor. This one intentionally painted green with gold visor. And then grouped together with another mech from different franchise with the same color scheme.

Why such grouping? Anyone who draw this has Halo in mind. This drawing is NOT Halo for sure, but inspired by it. Whether or not Halo tags are appropriate, I'll leave it to the others.
