It's kind of sad that we're about to lose this classy respectable Aya and get slutty Aya in her place, but that's how Square-Enix works nowadays. Cue downvotes.

You know, the fact that 3rd Birthday makes Aya look sexy. It's a good thing the previous games didn't do anything like that. Imagine if they had her running around in a little black dress for the whole first chapter of a game. Or even worse, gave her a shower scene.

How is a little fanservice slutty? She seemed more sensible clothing wise in the first two games compared to Resident Evil where Jill wears a weird stripper like outfit in 3, then basically a rip-off of the zero suit in 5. At least they weren't showing pantyshots galore of Aya. But Come one, she's meant to be sexy. Nothing whore-ish about that.

Dark,Capcom is Capcom,i would expect that from them, but not from Square.I just want her to stay the cute teenage looking girl rather than a half naked babe.Still, that was just a trailer, winter will show how much Enix will change her.Cute over hot, remember that.

Actually, it's even worse now than the appearance problem. They recently revealed that Aya will have amnesia, and as a result she won't remember the events of PE1 and PE2 AND her personality will completely change. Remember how Aya used to be strong and confident? That's not the case anymore. They outright said themselves that this Aya will be a scared girl afraid of battle.

You can see it in action yourself, too. Check the most recent trailer, at the end. I'm NOT sorry, but an Aya that runs up to a monster and starts shooting at it while about ready to cry her eyes out over how scared she is to be fighting is NOT the real Aya Brea, bullshit amnesia plot device or not.

I know, saw it already. As much as it is new and different,i have to take what i can get,i mean, after so many years thinking i will never see a sequel, this is amazing.

All i(dare to)hope for is they pick a good voice actor that matches her personality(the primary one).As long as it isnt somebody like the ME2 female Shepard,i wont object.Still, judging by the past,i can almost predict the American branch will inevitably fail me on this,so it might be good to grab the Japanese version.

Also,i can see a silver lining in this amnesia...she will forget all about Madigan, which might just be enough to kick him off the sequel.I know,it may not be worth it,if she loses herself, but seriously...amnesia?We both know Aya faced bigger problems and came out unscathed,so dont worry,we will likely get our old Aya back.

It disappoints me to think so many people are going to be buying this thing just because it's "a sequel" even though it's only in name and Aya's likeness. Literally, there's nothing of the real Aya Brea or Parasite Eve here, but because those well-known names on it, people will buy it, even though it's horribly disrespectful to both.

I'm of the type that would rather see a good series die with dignity than get butchered and mutilated into something horrendous before it's allowed to die as a mangled corpse of what it was before.
