It should be like a combination of Bioshock and Sims
Sims - So we can have our own custom trainer with our choice in clothes, they were going this route in that Pokemon Battle Revolution for the wii but not that much.

Bioshock - To have a choice to harvest other trainers' pokemon if we so choose after we beat them. But in order to harvest them, we must kill the trainer.
