Because it *is* stupid funny. The idea that Lucy, this mass-murdering misanthrope with the hardest hate boner for humanity would unironically love something as pure as wholesome as Bluey is a beautiful juxtaposition of elements that clash in such a way as to confuse the mind, leaving us with no other option but befuddled laughter.

Lucy would have turned out all right if she wasn't abused for most of her life. She didn't start off as a murderer, she didn't even lash out at her bullies till after the puppy incident. One could even argue her bullies were the instigator of doom for so, so many people. It doesn't excuse her actions but people have a breaking point and when the person in question has super powers bad things are gonna happen.
