If only life was like this scene.

After a stressing day at the office you come home, strap on your new armor and grab a sword that you shouldn't even be able to move let alone swing, you then venture out to slice and dice the prehistoric-ish monsters that roam the lands, would be so much better then life right now.

The game states at one point that a hunter is brought up from early childhood and your life would be nothing but maneging the strength and technique to use the weapons (making there use atleast fesable), and learing how to fight monsters. A hunter would never go to an "office" for work: Your either a hunter or you aren't.

Sadly, in the actual "Hunt both Lagiacrus and Rathalos" quest, it is not possible to get them to turn on one another like this. Would be very convenient, as each one is weak to the other's breath weapon.

To s57k, so very true...
As to the wielding a greatsword somewhat possible. A longsword, sword & shield, bowgun, twin swords, lance & shield easy. Hammer & swich axe, might be difficult though.
