Why the hell would that be weird? She's been my favorite ever since her introduction in the show. She's got the airheaded moe thing going, the big adorable eyes, a cute hairstyle to match, and her thought process is actually reminds me of my own thought process. lol.

No mind to how intelligent Ayumu might actually be... she still acts the part.

I don't know why that works. It probably has more to do with men going for girls they think are naive rather than stupid. And Ayumu is most certainly naive.
