After the stunts she pulled just after Danzo's death she does a lot of stuff that should get her on a list of most dislike characters.

People forget it's just "slapstick" like what Akane Tendo does in Ranma1/2 of corse the "slapstick" in Ranma1/2 is really happening in-universe...

unlike akane who yes its violent with ranma many times shes also very sweet and caring unlike sakura who only when naruto its almost dying (and even like that she still hits the poor guy)...akane at least has tryed many times to be nice with ranma...cooking somthing trying to be cute or watever...sakura its just her being a girl with "atitude" and basically abuse naruto to her hearts content...also if you add that sakura has been failing over and over and over on the manga as the main heroine...well you cant expect less for her than being the most hated character on naruto

Akane knows how bad her cooking is, and she tries to force people to eat it. That is just being evil on her part.

Akane has out right tried to cause Ranma's death, she hurts Ranma worse then any other character, and worst of all tried to force Ranma to marry her by blackmailing him with a cure to his curse. Akane is a sick sick girl like her sisters.

Sakura is no worse the Akane, but at least Sakura's temper control problem isn't just laughed off.

It isn't? I guess you mean in-series (Haven't seen Ranma 1/2), because Sakura frequently physically and emotionally abuses Naruto. If it wasn't for her redeeming qualities, I'd hate her as much as Sasuke.
