^^^ Second.

"A few more keystrokes and this may actually be interesting?" No, I sincerely doubt that. You see, the message I wish to convey is that I second Anon's comment, and nothing more. The idea that adding additional keystrokes will make my comment more interesting is an extension of our society's belief that more is better. Furthermore, the keystroke limit is nothing but a simple wordcount to determine how long a comment is. It is incapable of judging how interesting a comment actually is outside of it's length. Knowing this, it is very simple for me to type complete gibberish and/or profanities several lines below my intended comment. In this scenario, my initial comment is retained and the wordcount believes I have extended my comment. Thus, it allows me to post. In this regard, the keystroke limit is pointless and, in fact, counter-effective as these additional lines of gibberish and/or profanities take up space. True, it is only one or two kilobytes at most, but considering the ever-growing number of images and comments on this site, it surely adds up to a large amount of pointless information that takes up space. To summarize, I strongly discourage the use of keystroke limits on websites, as it does not add anything meaningful to the comments made by users, it encourages the use of spam and unnecessary vulgarities, and takes up space which could be put to use storing an image of an angered muscular man being violated by tentacles that I, along with Anon, wish were a tad less creepy.
