Pretty sure that Arbok is about to get its ass kicked, since they badly nerfed wrap after gen 1. Maybe if they made it only disallow physical moves that required moving it would be actually worthwhile again.

@Anon2, it's because they're fictional creatures, I think is the reason the majority are okay with it. Then again, there ARE some parents that are totally against Pokemon, but they don't seem to be too vocal about it.
