Can't be helped, it's the artist's artstyle. Me thinks drawing it any other way would conflict with the rest of the drawing.

And even despite the artstyle, these blond japanese heroes kinda look like each other in some manner or another anyway.

Guess they follow some kind of template.

I've seen a few attempt to try to draw a realistic Link, and they generally all screw the face up awfully. To be perfectly honest, I think THIS came out very good.
