Badass, even if their anatomy makes no sense. Where do they fit all their organs?

They fit their orgins in their carapise in the back. Where do you think aints fit their organs? concidering how small their bodies are.

Anon2, their anatomy makes perfect sense for an insectoid creature. They have no bones, thus no inner restrictions. They have an open vasculatory system and their main organ worth worrying about is the nervous system, which is poorly distributed. Their brain so to speak, is actually in their thorax, about where it joins to the body. That's the "Nerve stem" they spoke of in the movie. They're also very light and fast, but their carapace isn't armoured at all. What made them look so tough in the movie was the complete inability of the M.I. to shoot anything and put it down. (This wasn't a problem in the book because they didn't used rifles. Their main weapon was a flamethrower.)

Although, the arachnids of the novel weren't dumb, savage ant-like hives of creatures. They were an advanced hivemind and had actual weapons and tools that were tailored to their physiology and even had ships.
