You don't get it without the watermark.

The artist is putting those on his images to prevent them from being stolen by paysites.

No. The artist has no paysite. If he puts it up on the internet, it has the website watermarked on the image. Older images by the artist are an exception.

Now, it's possible he has CG Sets or something for sale that don't have the watermarks, but I highly doubt it.
