Please tell me you did not just ask that? Dear god I hope you're referring to the girl hanging off Malfoy, because from what I've seen, there's only been one Gryffindor mentioned in the entire story with black hair and glasses living at the same time as the others.

Well, many students called her pug-faced in the earlier books, but not everyone does. Maybe they (the students) exaggerated about her looks since she was mean to them. Maybe she bloomed later in life.
In the movies, she was portrayed by three different actresses, none of whom were really unattractive. One of them had a wide nose, I think, but other than that, no issues appearance-wise.
