To third Anon, message 1388319: There was a "pumpkin panties" moment in the Soul Eater anime indeed, but the main reference to Soul Eater here is the little witch Angela (the brown-haired little girl whose hat has a chameleon's tongue, she is sitting on the same broom as Marisa Kirisame). She is actually a character in the Soul Eater franchise, she is the little witch protected by samurai Mifune.
