I suppose the "other" tag is more fitting because their gender is left ambiguous purposedly. Could even be a girl. Though they are considered a Prince in disguise that crossdresses as a girl, and their tale is akin to King Arthur's so who knows. It's Fate. Gender and timelines are hard to pinpoint sometimes.
