I see a few inaccuracies with alignments here...
Ivy and Mitsurgi don't side with Soul Edge and aren't evil, but Yun-Seong pursued Soul Edge, while Sophita defended it :P

@ Sonic: Mitsurugi also saught Soul Edge, but he was more in it for the fights; to find an opponent stronger than himself because he hungered for more and more power. Ivy has/had (8 forget which) cursed blood due to Cervantes' use of Soul Edge. Yunsung sought Soul Edge as well, but under the delusion that it would allow him to better help defend his home and also to prove himself, traditional "heroic" motivations....Even if the guy himself seems pretty thick at times lol. When you mentioned Sophitia, I assume you mean SC4, in which HER CHILD'S LIFE was found to depend on Soul Edge's evil aura. It was either defend it, or watch her daughter die. So, she's still a hero, though she was technically on the villains' side at that point.

So this picture focuses more on the personal qualities of the characters and which ever side they're on was more of a way to show the kind of character they are then? Because most of the characters who hunger for battle or power are on the Soul Edge side while those who had something to defend or save are on the Soul Calibur side
