The first scene of Nami and Sora is the reason I hate the anime adaptation. In the OVA, they just go right into fucking on the bed after she rapes him. In the manga, she leaves him crying on the floor and threatens to cut off his dick if he told anyone about it. The manga is so much more emotionally driven than the OVA, which feels like just another soft-core incest porn. (Not that the manga doesn't have any chapters that are also just incest porn, but the manga also has scenes that are emotional, romantic, scary, or sexy. The OVA just goes for the sexy, with a little of the romance here and there, granted. But it ignores the more powerful moments outside of the fucking. Also, not seen every episode, but the OVA has no Best Girl, Runa, at all from what I have looked up.) Sorry for the long tyrade, Aki Sora is legitimately one of my favorite manga, I tend to get heated when discussing it.
