If you get Black then you get Reshiram, and N gets Zekrom, if you get White you get Zekrom and N gets Reshiram.

It really doesnt matter what version you get because both of the pokemon are even in strength

This actually makes sense, though. According to the in-game lore that Drayden talks about, Reshiram is the dragon of truth and Zekrom is the dragon of ideals. N, who wants to change the world to suit his ideals of what Pokemon should be, is naturally the most appropriate partner for Zekrom, while the hero's understanding of the truth that people and Pokemon can live in harmony makes him/her the ideal partner for Reshiram.
