Sechs DID change from the original (female-model) replica body that Alita destroyed into a new, somewhat bigger male-modeled one. However this image looks like his 'new' body with a more female bend... ergo the application of 'gender-swap' as Sechs is supposedly 'male' at this point in the time-line.

Basically his/her gender identity is a whole load of confusion...

This is Sechs in her original body shortly before it was destroyed. That right arm gives it away, that's the gauss cannon she was using. His new male-patter body did not have that gun arm.

So, in this pic, physically still female, although she always had more balls than most men ever will. :)
