What would make this anime/manga way cooler were titans that arent ugly as fuck.I think the wanted to create something very ugly,but besides the Colossal class and the armored titan there are only the ugliest pieces of shit ever.....enemies should be cool to.
Also Mikasa is on of the most awesome girls out of every anime/manga ever.no whining,no bitching and shes strong.
Not as Cool as Fairy Tails Erza,but hey,who is,she is like the Roronoa Zoro of female characters.

Anon1 has got it all wrong, no, enemies SHOULDN'T be cool, that's what's wrong with alot of manga and anime these days, the villains are cooler than the actual heroes and you end up rooting for the bad guys instead of the good guys, which contradicts everything and renders the heroic deeds done by the main characters practically useless.
This series has absolutely nailed it in that aspect, the titans are ugly, despicable and utterly disgusting beings that makes you want to throw up your lunch and also puts a feeling of fear in you when you see them coming, and that's exactly what a GOOD enemy does, you actually WANT to see them die miserable deaths while wishing the best for the heroes of the series, this is what good writing, storytelling and the picturing of enemies really is, a villain is a villain because he's/they're legitimately feared and scary, and because their actions are despicable and incomprehensible to most humans, they're not supposed to be cooler and more awesome than the people you should actually be rooting for...

Because that sounds like pretty much the most retarded idea in the history of fiction.
The titans are supposed to be big scary monsters, so they obviously can make them fucking pretty.
