It’s not just Disney that has a problem with moms. Goku for the longest time didn’t have one to the point we thought Seripa could be her, Chi-Chi, Videl, Vegeta, Broly, etc. I guess all their mothers died or are so unimportant it couldn’t be bothered to waste a second drawing them.
