Blue usually looks pretty distant. Hell, he didn't even WANT to be a Gym Leader, originally. It was supposed to be Red, but he turned 'em down.

ACTUALLY, (Same Anon from above), taking a second look, this actually IS a Pokémon Adventures picture. Pryce in a wheelchair, Falkner has a Skarmory, Bugsy has a Heracross, Morty has a Misdreavus, Janine's in ninja-mode (Constantly), Misty's outfit... Not to mention the art style on Surge's face. This pic just gained SO many awesome points for me.

1. It's not Blue, It's Green (Better explained in the FRLG arc)
2. Steelix is too damn big for this kind of shot in the Pokemon Adventures
3. Green's Pokemon was never shown, iirc, cause of Rocket.
